Gunnar Henriksson, Ph.D.

Gunnar Henriksson is PhD in biochemistry from Uppsala University and professor in wood chemistry at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. His research interest include both based research in the enzymology of biomass degradation, lignin and polysaccharides, and applied research related to green technology mainly in pulping end energy technology. He has published more than 200 scientific articles, several text book chapters and a number of patents. Some of the techniques he have bee codeveloped are now in commercial production and have also been the base for novel production companies in the biomaterial sector.​

Research Technician
We are seeking a protein biochemistry, and/or organic chemistry technician with a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in the biosynthesis sciences of poly-peptides and nucleotide; he or she will work at the Rockville laboratory, located in the campus of Johns Hopkin University and National Cancer Institute; Rockville, Maryland (MD). This position in which the applicant's primary responsibility will be to support development of UMG’s innovative pipeline products.
